I got mugged!!

Hey Everyone!                                Dec 1, 2014

I am glad to know that you guys had a great time at the party with the family. I hope you told them all that I love and miss them. The day of Thanksgiving I actually sorta forgot it was Thanksgiving until night time. But we just ordered the usual, Churrascos haha, its a sandwich with tomato, avacado, mayo, meat. Its pretty good.Thats too bad to hear about the Aggies, but at least they will be able to go to a bowl game and at least they beat BYU. I think that if those two things can happen then you can call it a successful season haha.
We are very blessed as a family. Thanks to the gospel we have everything that we need to be happy. I never realized that until now. Everything that we have is because of the gospel.  I love it.
Everyone down here keeps asking what its like to live in a place where it snows and things like that. Its funny because to me snow is normal, but down here to see snow would mean the second coming haha.         Down here everyone is starting to put up some lights and there are trees and some things like that. And of course the jokes have started already. Papa Noel here and NOEL Noel noel noel. Haha I like it though, it brings a smile to their faces.
This week the work was sorta slow. I gotta admit I probably didn't put my best effort in. I got some things to work on. But this week is a new week so I will take what I learned from last week and put it in to practice this week. I only got 11 months left so I gotta focus even more.  We had 7 investigators in church so thats good. I just hope that we can start getting some of these people baptized!
It sounds like it was a good church meeting on trusting in the Lord. That's a good topic. Trusting in the Lord. I think for most of us, trusting in the Lord is the hardest thing to do and I don't know why. I think it has to do with the faith that we have some times. When we are younger we are taught that when we struggle or have problems or don't know what to do that we should pray unto the Lord. But for some reason as we grow older we start to think of those things as sort of a last resort. Or we think that they won't even work. Even here in the mission I see myself doing that sometimes. That I can sort of ¨do it by myself´´ which is the exact opposite of what we should be doing but sadly it happens. It takes alot of practice.  Here is a good scripture about that in 2 Nephi 4:34 "O Lord, I have trusted in thee, and I will trust in thee forever. I will not put my trust in the arm of flesh; for I know that cursed is he that puteth his trust in the arm of flesh. Yea, cursed is he that puteth his trust in man or maketh flesh his arm".
So I am learning each day to trust in the Lord more and more.
Well yesterday something scary sorta happened, but you can't tell mom. Me and my comp got robbed.  We went to go pick up an investigator for church who wasn't there, so we just started walking to church.  We past this building and this guy popped out with a gun and said I want your cell phone, money, watches, etc.  We gave him the stuff and then he told us to walk away and we did. I was pretty shocked at the moment and I didn't quite know what to do other than do what he said. Well we walked away unharmed, but he got about 20 dollars and my watch, which is sorta cheap, and our cell phone, which also is cheap.  He got my comps watch which his mom gave to him before he left as a gift.  It was worth about 150 dollars he said. But we are okay.
This experience kinda made me mad and I kept rethinking the situation on maybe what I could have done to avoid it or things like that but that just brought me anger and regret so I just sorta let it go.
I walked away humbled and grateful that I walked away clean with my comp. But thats my story for the week, you can tell mom if you want but I am not going to tell her hahaha, she will freak out.
I am excited to be able to talk with you guys on Christmas. Don't worry about me I am good.
Take care!

Thanksgiving

Hey Mom,                               November 24, 2014

Our week this week was actually okay, we were able to have 8 investigators in church so thats good.  Not to much to say about this week other than my kid is doing a great job. He is a good guy and has alot of desire to be a good missionary.  He kind of gave me a jump start again about missionary so thats good.
The people we are teaching seem to be doing good. There are a lot of things sometimes that keep people from progressing, such as working on sundays, word of wisdom, law of chastity, things like that. But the ones who do always end up happier. It reminds me of a good scripture in Mosiah.

Mosiah 2:41 ¨And moreover, I would desire that ye should consider on the blessed and happy state of those that keep the commandments of God. For behold, they are blessed in all things, both temporal and spiritual; and if they hold out faithful to the end they are received into heaven, that thereby they may dwell with God in a state of never-ending happiness. O remember, remember that these things are true; for the Lord God hath spoken it.¨

Its just a good reminder that those who keep the commandments will always be blessed, always. I know that as we keep the commandments, that God will bless us and keep us from harm.
Bad news about the family that we have been teaching, things haven't been going so well for them but we will continue to pray and see what happens.
This is my last Thanksgiving in my mission, which is weird to think. I hope that you guys have a great time together this Thanksgiving and maybe you can save me a turkey leg or something, I will probably have rice and chicken haha, the usual.
Keep up the great work and I will talk to you later! I love you! Your the best!

With mucho amor,
Elder Noel

It's getting warm here!

Hey Mom,                                  November 17,2014

Things are certainly starting to warm up here, I got burned on saturday pretty bad, everyone at church called me Rudolf instead of Papa Noel. haha
We had five investigators in church this week so that was good. That family that I have been telling you guys about came so that was great. We are starting to work with the dad of the family as well so that they can get married and all get baptized, but its going to take a solid miracle, I know it can be done.
The training is going pretty good, I am actually learning a lot too, so that is a good thing.  My companion is teaching me and I am teaching him. We get along good and we don't really have any problems as far as pride or anything like that, so thats good, I just hope that we can continue it.  We actually invited 20 people to be baptized this week.  I make my ``son`` invite everyone to be baptized so that he can get a good feel for it. He does it like a champ.  Nine of the 20 said yes too, thats good.
I know it can be hard sometimes to find time to read the scriptures and things like that, but I know that as we put God first, he takes care of the rest.
I love you! I hope that you have a great week!

Baptism and new companion

Hey Mom,                              November 10, 2014

How are you! Things are going good, my new comp is from Peru and he is a really good guy.  His name is Elder Q and I am learning a lot from him! He was baptized with his fam when he was 11, his dad didn't get baptized untill three years later, he speaks a little english but not much, and he is doing pretty good, really excited to work.  We had a baptism on Tuesday! I will send you a pic!
My week was okay, it was a long week with cambios and everything but thats okay.  Also on Sunday we had stake conference and Elder Zeballos from the seventy.  He is a great guy, I got a picture with him.
Today I gotta help my comp settle in, so not too much exciting stuff going on.  I don't have much time left but make sure and tell everyone that if I didn't write them its because I didn't have a lot of time, I love you guys, your the best!

Building a house

Hey Mom,                                   November 3,2014

This week was alright, we actually started off pretty well, but ended badly, there was a family whose house burned down about six months ago, and the house that they are living in now is temporary, they have stayed there too long, so they were going to get kicked out on the street, so friday we spent the whole day trying to finish building the house back up that got burned down so that they have some place to live, it needed to be done, he had no other help.

We had 4 investigators in church, and we actually have a baptism tomorrow, so it should be good, she is twenty five years old and her name is J. She is a really smart girl and she actually is already going to institute and things like that, the ward has done a good job of helping her out. She will be baptized tomorrow.

There was also a death in the ward, really sad for the ward. The guy was nice and it was really unexpected. He was a good dad and they had lost their daughter just a year ago, now the mom has to work and provide for her family, but she is a great lady and a really strong person. She is actually the teacher of Gospel Principles, and the week before she had just taught Eternal Families, pretty cool.

The family with the two boys are doing good, they came to church again so that's good!

Cambios are this week and my comp is leaving, and guess what?  I'm going to be training again, I get my new comp on wednesday, there are only two new elders coming in so I will have a new kid.  I'm excited, it should be cool, I also know that he will be a latino.  I pick him up at 9:30 on wednesday, it should be good.  I learned alot the first time I trained, so hopefully I will learn alot more with the new guy.

I love you! Have a great week!

zone conference fun!

zone conference crazy!

Pday cleaning and a fight

Hey Mom,                               October 27, 2014

This week was okay, We were able to have 8 investigators in church so that was good.

We didn't really do anything fun for pday today because the second to last p day of every cambio we have to do clean up in our house until one o'clock, so that basically ruins any "fun".

I found out that my comp will be leaving next week to go to another sector, the cool thing is that the last day of the cambio before he leaves we are going to have a baptism of a girl named J. She is awesome, she is 25 and a really inteligent person. She will be a good member. I will be in charge of the sector now, we will see what happens with that!

I saw Elder W today in the office, it was a surprise, he was up here getting something checked medically, he is really a great guy and I look up to him a lot, a great missionary.

That case Dad is working on sounds pretty crazy. I cant believe how much sin comes from pride. If people could just be more humble in this world things would be so much smoother.

It is not easy to help others solve their problems. Sometimes we even know what the solution is and they just can't seem to accept it. Sometimes, actually a lot of the time I have no idea what the solution to their problem is. I just try and tell them that when we put God first, good things happen, thats all I can say sometimes.

Well about that family, they all came to church. It was awesome. They mom decided not to work and she came to church. They loved it. We will see what happens this week, but so far they are progressing.

On monday of last week we witnessed a fight in the street, this big chilean was just pounding on this other guy, I think he owed him money or something, but I didn't know what to do, I just yelled "hey!" , and tried to get him to stop but he wasn't listening, it stopped and then everyone just went their separate ways.  I felt sorta sick after, I don't get how he could just beat up on that guy like that.

Well our convert from about 4 weeks ago has sorta falling back into smoking, he missed church for like 3 weeks, so thats disappointing, but we are trying to help him again.

But hey mom I am doing okay, no worries, things are going okay, I have stress but I think its normal, sometimes stress is good, it helps us get up and going.

Take care this week! I love you!

Your son always,
      Elder Noel

Hey Mom,                                    October 20,2014

I cannot believe that I have completed a year in the mission, officially this wednesday. Your absolutely right when you say that this has been the longest, shortest and hardest year of my life.  The funny thing is that I wouldn't change it for anything.

Well nothing has really changed, I am still in Boca Sur and I still have the same comp. He is good and we are finally starting to get our groove down as comps I feel.  Cambios are in 2 weeks and I am pretty sure that I will be here for about three more months, which is good. I like it here, even though it is pretty gangsta.

This week some kid threw pineapple juice at us. Some gangster kid. It's okay though, he was with his friends just trying to be funny, I'm sure that if he was alone that he wouldn't have done it, it was good juice though, tasted good at least haha.

We actually started of the week pretty well, then it just went downhill from there. Its hard to put together a full solid week sometimes.  There is usually always something that keeps us from just from having a good solid week. But that happens sometimes. We will see what happens this week. Lately I have started to get focused on the numbers, which is a bad road to take, then I start to compare myself to others and to the other district leaders. It just leads to frustration and stress. I gotta stop that.  I need to just compare my success from within.  My area is doing okay, we need to find some new people but it is doing okay. We were able to have 4 people in church this week so that is always good, if we can keep getting people to church than that is a good thing.  I feel like the Lord really blesses us sometimes and I don't feel worthy of the blessings that he gives us.

This week we were given a reference by a ward member. We went and the family is great, it's a mom who lives with her two kids who are 14 and 12.  They are great kids espescially for all the other kids their age down here.   The mom works at the Ferreria or the farmers market, three times a week to be able to try and pay for the water, lighting, and rent. She has been behind on her payments and is afraid of losing her house. The two kids came to church with us this last week but the mom had to work in the ferreria.  I love this family.  I want them so bad to accept the gospel. I didn't really know what else to tell them other than that they have a Father in heaven who loves and knows them. That he has a plan prepared for them and that if they just rely and trust in him then everything will be okay.  I'm afraid that I will say or do something that will screw it up. But I just pray that I can help them to accept the gospel. I thought I had problems until I met this family. I left the house feeling very humbled and blessed.  I will keep you updated with them.  Service is probably one of the most important things in the gospel.  We think we have problems until we look around and see that people are a lot worse off than we are.  I am trying to put myself in other peoples' shoes to see how they feel.

Today we had a zone activity, it was fun, we watched Saratov Approach and ate food, it was cool, the zone is actually doing a great job and we are leading the mission in many areas.

 Take care,
 Elder Noel

birthday cake and Pdays

Hey Mom,                                October 13th, 2014

Things here are going good, I loved all of the presents you sent me and the cake was absolutely delicious, when I ate it I had a flashback that I was at home haha.

This week started off slow but ended well, we were able to have 7 investigators in church. That was cool to see and have them there. I have heard alot about that movie  "Meet The Mormons"  but I doubt that we will be able to see it. There is like one movie theatre here in Chile and Im not sure how many people would be interested in it, but I did find out that 1 out of every 30 Chileans are mormon. And of those who are mormon, 9 out of 10 are inactive. That blew my mind.  I knew inactivity was high but I didn't know that it was that high.  There is a lot of work to do down here haha.

I am doing ok, some days are better than others, but thats how life is, I just gotta focus on what I can do to be a better missionary and not focus on the outward results compared to the outward results of someone else, that sure is a formula for disappointment.  I think that applies to all of us in this life. We shouldn't compare the blessings given to us to other people's blessings.  That is a way to become ungrateful and or prideful.  I still have alot to work on as a person and as a missionary, but I know that with the Lords help I can do it, and so can all of us. Love you alot Mom and I am grateful that we have this gospel in our lives and in the lives of our families. Sometimes I wish that I could just make the investigators see and feel all the importance that the gospel can have in their lives if they just choose to accept and live it.

We are about 30 minutes away from Concepcion by bus. We go every pday, its a pretty cool place, they have Mcdonalds and stuff so thats cool. It looks like a normal city, its actually not part of our mission though, its part of the Concepcion mission. Today I think we are just going to eat some lunch in Concepcion and then my comp wants to go home and sleep haha.

I love you alot, your the best!

Elder Noel's 20th birthday

Hey Mom,                                                         October 6th, 2014

Thank you for the birthday wishes and presents! I know that you put alot of work into it so thanks so much for all that you do to make me happy. It definately works. Out of all the things I got, the thing that I love the most was the journal entries.

I recieved all of the packages so no worries. Thank you so much for all of the stuff! I will use it all!

I totally forgot about the Aggie game but the first email I opened up was Cole and his friends with the Utah State score! I just about lost it over here in Chile haha. All the missionaries here were sorta bummed they lost but me and another Ute fan were celebrating, it was awesome! I will try not to get to trunky haha.

Conference was awesome. I learned so much. I know that this is the true church because the prophets are really called of God. I loved conference. Being in the mission and listening to conference is really a cool experience and I loved being able to see and feel the importance of everything that was said.  Prophets, I am so grateful for prophets on the earth today. They guide and lead us to God. Without prophets we would be lost, and you can definately see that here. So many churches with no direction. But there were alot of things that I learned and that I will apply in my life and mission going forward. One thing that I learned from conference was that we shouldn't let good decisions, keep us from making the best decisions. I thought that that was an interesting concept. Sometimes we can get comfortable with where we are, and as a result we don't move forward or progress.  The gospel of Jesus Christ is the thing that will ensure we make the BEST decisions if we live it.

One of our investigators who has been investigating the Church for about 2 months now came to conference. She said that every question she had was answered, we are hoping to put a baptismal date for her this week.

This week was sorta a slow one. We didn't have much work to do and we had a lot of lessons that fell through. But we have some good people that we are teaching so that is good. We just need to focus on finding those who will recieve us, and then baptize them. Always things to improve, and always things to change. But I know that as we apply the teachings of Jesus we can become our true potential.  Thanks for writing those families, I miss them a lot and I am grateful for the opportunity that God gave me to be able to meet and teach them this gospel.

And your right, 20 years goes by way to fast. I never thought that this point in my life would come. I know that there are somethings in the past that I could have done better, or maybe changed, but I know that we don't live in the past we live in the present, so I just need to take what I have learned from these 20 years and look forward to the next twenty. That will be one crazy day! I am getting old, one fifth of my life is complete. I know that I am here for a reason, and that this is where I should be at this point in my life.

I love you and I am thankful that I have a mom who loves and cares about me like you do.
I love you, your the best,

Elder Noel

Packages and Baptism

Hey Mom,                           September 29th, 2014

I cannot believe that I am going to turn 20 years old this next week. That just absolutely blows my mind. And by the way, I received the package! Thanks so much. Don't worry, I haven't opened up the presents yet, I am going to wait until the sixth haha.  The rain is getting old thats for sure, but it sounds like the rainy season is just about to end so thats a good thing.

I hope the Aggies can pull it of against YBU. I have faith in em.

The beginning of this week was sorta blaaa. But it ended up being a pretty good week other than I have got a cold again. I can't seem to catch a break with this sickness stuff. But oh well thats how it goes I guess.  The constant work I think can sometimes seem over whelming and we don't see how we can keep up with it.  But the Lord has provided a way for all of his children to overcome whatever trial and test we face in this life, and I know that if we will LEARN to depend on him then our weaknesses will be made into strengths.

J got baptized! It was so cool to be able to see him get baptized and take that important step.  I just hope we can keep showing him the true importance of the gospel so that he will continue to make good decisions and choices in his life.

I live with the zone leaders, and this week we got a new Zone Leader. His name is Elder A. He is a really great Zone Leader and the second he arrived he changed the zone around. I had the opportunity to work with him on thursday and it was awesome. We worked really well together and I learned a lot from him. He helped me to see that we can be hardworkers and have fun at the same time. He is a great guy.

I from my first sector called me the other day. It was cool to hear from him and talk to him. He sends his love and everything. I thanked him for his help that he gave to me at the beginning of my mission. I think it would be cool if you guys could maybe write him, share a scripture or something. Just a thought.

This week is conference and we are all getting pretty excited. Watching conference in the mission is really alot different then at home. I feel like I get alot more out of it than I did at home. I challenge you guys to watch and apply the stuff you learn at conference this week.

Keep up the good work as a mom and I will talk to you next week, on my birthday.
Your the best! Love you!

Chile Independence Day

Let's go fly a kite

 Elder C is cool!

Celebrating Independence Day with the Elders

Hey Mom,                                      Sept 22, 2014

How are ya? I hope that things are still going good for you. Im glad to hear that you guys got tickets to the temple dedication. That is awesome. I wish I could have seen all of those apostles and prophets, Im sure that it was an amazing experience.  Thanks for your advise, I know that the things in the mission will help me with my future problems and my future life. Lets not talk about marriage just yet hahaha, that is a whole other ball game.

Chile is good. They had their national independence day on the 18th. There was an activity for the ward and everything. It was cool to see. We flew kites and ate empenadas. They are the national food of Chile basically. It was cool but bad for the work. No one wanted to listen to us. But I guess its like that some times right?

The baptism did not go through this week. But that is okay, we are going to see if he will be ready for this week.  But we did have 4 investigators in church so that is always good.

Transfers are tomorrow, me and my comp will be the same. But the new missionaries get here tomorrow, so im sure that they are on a plane right now, I will be sure to look for Elder Stevenson.

By the way I complete 11 months tomorrow, is that crazy or what? I can't believe it. Time really does fly by. Talk to you soon!

Elder Noel

40 cigarets down to 1

This is from a zone conference.  It includes the mission president and his wife and his counselors.  Can you find Hayden?

Hey Mom,                                      Sept 15, 2014

It was awful being sick but Im fine now. I am doing just great.  I think for the most part I am happy.  I just want to find my stride as a missionary so to speak. I think that i just need to dive in and not worry about other things.

This week started out good and then went out the window. We have and investigator with a date to get baptized this saturday , his name is J , we are trying to find John, to baptize him haha. J smoked 40 cigarets a day. The church has a stop smoking program and we are trying to help him with that.  So far, he has smoked 1 cigaret this week. Quite an improvement.  We are hoping he can keep it up to get baptized this week!

But mom I love you so much! You are the best! I hope that you guys have a great time this week and I will be praying for you guys!

I don't really have any good pictures to send, but next week for sure I will send some great pictures, hopefully with a baptism.

Elder Noel

Nothing like the flu!

Not sure where this is

In our ward there are 8 missionaries. Sometimes we get lucky and have lunch together.  It's quite the party!

Hey Mom,                                    Sept 8, 2014

I am really getting sick of the rain here but it will pass soon, after this month there is no more rain for three or four months, so we just have to wait it out.

Boca sur is fine. We saw a lady smoking marijuana the other day but that is sorta normal here haha.  All the gangster dudes are basically just punks.  They are good though.

On Friday I got sick. It was terrible. I woke up at 2 in the morning and threw up, then at 4 at 6, 8 and 10. It was a bad day.  Then yesterday my comp got sick. So we had a rough week as far as the work goes, but we just gotta keep moving on right?

 Elder Noel!

Another week

My old comp from Canete

Elder C

river in Denver, we missed him this trip

Hey Mom,                                    Sept 1, 2014

How are things going along in Denver? I'm sad to hear about the Aggies, but the good thing about losing is that you can see where your weaknesses are, make adjustments and then improve.  Just like us.  We fall down, make adjustments, and improve.

This week was a crappy one. We couldn't find anyone to teach really and the investigator that we have for baptism is really evangelical.  Not sure what will happen with him, but we will keep teaching him.  We spent one whole day building a house for a member whose house burnt down like 4 months ago.  Not sure what we were doing but we got it done.

Cool story. On the way to Concepcion today I sat next to some lady on the bus. I started talking to her and then she told me that she almost got baptized like 10 years ago but felt really pressured to do it so she never did.  Well it turns out that she lives in our sector, so we will be teaching her this week. Hopefully she can open up her heart a little so that we can baptize her.

I hope that you guys are having an absolute blast in Denver. That was one of the best vacations I think we went on as a family. Be safe and have fun. Are you guys going to go to that river that we went to? That was fun. But anyways, I love you, thank you so much for all of your love and support. I can feel it all the way over here in Chile.

 Love,
Elder Noel

Hermana missionary from home

Hey Mom,                                     August 25, 2014

I forgot to tell you about Hermana F. When I found out she went to Ben Lomond I started talking to her about school and Ogden and everything. We got trunky but it was funny haha. She is a really good missionary, really diligent and hard working. She was known as a ¨Machine¨ down here. A great example to all the missionaries and  really learned a lot from her and her example. Her testimony is way strong.  Her family is from Colombia and she is fluent spanish.  When I found out she was going home I decided to write you guys a quick note to see if she could take it to you. I am glad that she did.

There are 8 missionaries in our ward. Our sector is the second most dangerous in the mission, but I haven't seen anything too bad yet. In the other sector they live next to a drug dealer, and on the corner of the street where they live, there is a lady who sells heroin every day haha. But in our sector its not to bad haha.

This week was okay, we don't really have any people so we are focusing on the people that we have and trying to help them progress, and then trying to find new people. We found a family of three, so I am hoping that they will be able to get baptized.  My comp is a good guy, we get along and seem to have a good time. He just finished his training so he is new in the mission still. I learn from him and he learns from me, it is good.

I completed ten months in the mission this past week, can you belive it? Its crazy how fast the time goes, I feel like my mission is going to be over in like a month haha.

Keep up the great work and I hope that all is well.
Your the best,
Elder Noel

Boca Sur and gum

last picture before I left Canete
Hey Mom,                                  August 18, 2014

Being a district leader is not too bad, at least for right now. I only have 2 hermanas and the zone leaders in my district so it's not too stressful.  Being the district leader over the zone leaders is like being the bishop over the prophet, but hey, they are good guys and I hope that we will get along well, I expect we will.

It was hard to leave Cañete, harder than I thought. I was brought to tears on many occasions and it almost felt like leaving home. I just hope that all of the people that we taught we continue living the gospel.

My new sector is called Boca Sur. It's the biggest ward in the mission with 180 members mas o menos that attend.  We have eight missionaries in it, its so big.

Some one spit their gum at me this week, so that was a nice warm welcome haha.  I also was sick this whole week with Gripa (flu), so that was just wonderful as well. It's hard to keep up the motivation when you are sick. Your mind and bad attitude gets to you.  We don't really have too many investigators, but that's okay, we just need to find them.  My comp is cool, he just finished his training and it is his first time guiding his sector.  He is doing a good job. His name is Elder C from Orem.

The apartment is good. Not to shabby.

I am glad that Cole has a goal to have his papers in. That is good.  When we have goals it helps us to focus on our purpose and make sure that we plan to accomplish the goal.

Bad news. I lost almost all of my pictures on my mission.  Some one was taking a picture for me and accidently deleted 80 percent of them. I need you to make sure and save all the pictures I sent you guys, and I am going to try and get some from my old comp.

But other than that things are going okay. I really love you and I am so grateful for the influence that you have in my life, I hope that you have a great week!

Take care!
Elder Noel!

pictures in Canete

The new mission president, Elder Bluth, took a trip to visit the missionaries in Canete

Hayden's new kitchen, much better then the old.  The burner doesn't work but the members feed him well!

the countryside driving into Canete, very pretty!

I found these pictures of Hayden on the new Concepcion South mission blog.  Sister Bluth (the new mission president's wife)  keeps a blog.  It is wonderful!!  As I was reading it I came across a couple pictures of Canete and Hayden's apt that I hadn't seen before.  In an earlier post he sent some pictures of his old apt. (really bad)  They had since moved and these are pictures of the new place!  Much better!!!

Elder Wallace and me and the hermanas
Hey Mom,                                   August 11, 2014

Well.... my days in Cañete have come to a close. Im sad to be leaving this place, there are alot of people here that I have come to love and I will be sad to have to say goodbye to them. I will also miss my companion a lot!

I don't have to much time to write today but I just wanted to let you know that I will be going to my new sector called Boca Sur. It is Concepcion basicamente in the zone of San Pedro. There are 32 missionaries in the zone and its the biggest zone in the mission. I will live with the Zone leaders again and I guess there are 180 members that attend . A really big ward.  The thing is they called me as District Leader.  I don't know how to do that but I guess I just go and do it haha.  It's Elder Wallace's old sector. The first sector that he was in and he told me that he loved it. So I am really excited.   I think a change will be really good for me.

I love you a lot and I will be praying for you like always and I hope that you have a great week!

Your the best!
Elder Noel!
